In February 2015 three more kitchens were formally inaugurated in all day primary schools A & B Kaimakli in Nicosia, St. Anargyroi and Archbishop Makarios in Larnaca. Bank of Cyprus has funded the creation, equipment and operation of the kitchen at A & B Kaimakli, which was inaugurated by the Minister of Education and Culture Mr. Costas Kadis. The kitchens of the two primary schools of St. Anargyroi and Archbishop Makarios in Larnaca were created and equipped by IKEA.
The ‘Sophia’ provides the supply of food for the operation of the kitchens and therefore relieves parents from the financial burden of catering for their children.
