Between the 3rd – 24th of March a joined medical mission of “Sophia Foundation for Children” (SFC) and Medical Checks for Children (MCC) held in Kenya. The MCC team managed to check and to treat around 3.500 children in different areas of Kenya, in specific schools such as St. Clements, St. George located in the slum of Kibera and the Makarios Orphanage in Nyeri. The doctors provided medicines, anti-parasitic pills and vitamins, but also referred to hospitals all the cases of children deemed necessary.
We thank MCC for their invaluable contribution. A big thank from the heart also to all our sponsors who support our programs in Kenya. We are sure that they feel the same thrilled and proud as we do!
